John Lancaster has been helping the ferrets this long, cold winter, searching for the "lost '63ers." He recently learned that Marilynn Speiser had died 5/19/16. Her obit is posted on this site. We also found Steve Uthoff spending 9 months of the year in Florida. His address has been updated. Thanks, John!
We have recently learned that Brian Mills died 12/5/2015. Lee Kropp passed away last week on Jan. 31, 2019. Our known class losses now stand at 102.
It was a great Fall weekend in Webster Groves, the 7th class reunion for us. We think we hold the record for WGHS alumni reunions. We DO like to get together and talk. 90 paid to attend, 60 of whom were '63ers. Alumni (25) came from all over the country, from CA to MA to FL. Eight were not at the 50th. Two had never been to one of our reunions before: Mike DeBruler and John Parsons.
Thanks to the fun committee who planned and worked on this successful event: Betsey Anderson, Nancy Fares, Judy Hanson, Freda Hale, Barbara Hemphill, Sandy Hofmeister, Don Pickles, Don Polley, Dave Schroeder, Bill Southworth, Sue Steiger, Karen Younger and co-chairs, Barb Brown and Cheryl Davis.
Marian Watson passed away August 23, 2018. She had had surgery, developed an infection in rehab, and ultimately died of heart problems.
We have word from Betsey Anderson that Pete Vesey died of lung cancer June 2, 2018. There is no obituary. Please take time to read his profile and his write-up for the WGHS Hall of Fame on this site.
